Take the Blue Line inbound to State; then change to the Orange Line (towards "Forest Hills"), travel one stop, transfer to the Red Line (towards "Braintree" or "Ashmont") to South Station. Exit the train and proceed up the stairs to the Commuter Rail platform. See "Public Transportation" below.

By Car
Don't have a car? You can still go far, with Wheaton's transportation services.
Wheaton offers GATRA. GATRA service is free to students, staff and faculty with a Wheaton I.D. GATRA runs Monday through Sunday and is a flag-stop system, which means that passengers board a bus anywhere safe along its route. A "wave" signals the bus operator to pull over and pick you up. GATRA services routes into Attleboro, Taunton and Mansfield. Mansfield service does not have a flag stop system for pick-up along its route, GATRA only goes to the T-station once it enters Mansfield. You can pick up GATRA at the Slype (the archway between Everett and Everett Heights) on Howard Street.
Service is free in the following ways:
- Local service between Wheaton and the Mansfield MBTA station via route 140 in Norton and Main Street in Mansfield. Wheaton pick up site at the Slype.
- Gatra route 18 intercity bus route between Taunton and Attleboro.
Connections from these points will be at the normal public transportation rates. You can pick up a GATRA packet of all the routes, times and fees at the Information desk in Balfour-Hood, The Office of Student Life and the Bookstore. If you have questions or concerns on schedules, times or routes please call Gatra at (508) 823-8828 or on the web at www.gatra.org and enjoy the service
