By Air
Boston is served by Logan International Airport. From the airport you can get to Cambridge either by taxi or by subway.

By taxi: The ride to Harvard Square takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Typically, the ride from Logan Airport to Harvard Square costs about $25.

By subway: (the "T"): Take the shuttle bus to the AIRPORT T stop (BLUE LINE). Take the BLUE LINE inbound four stops to GOVERNMENT CENTER. Change to the GREEN LINE westbound and go one stop to PARK STREET. Switch to the RED LINE outbound (follow directions for subway below).

By Train/Bus
Take the train or bus to South Station. Follow signs to the subway. Take the Red Line Inbound to Alewife via Park Station. (Then follow the subway directions below.)

By Subway
Harvard is easily accessible by public transportation. Most Bostonians refer to the subway as the "T".

Take the RED LINE to Harvard Square. There are multiple exits from the station. Take any of them and you will be on Massachusetts Ave. Take Bratte Strret, bearing right ad following to James Street. Radcliffe Yard will be on your right after you pass the Graduate Schoool of Education on your right and the American Repertory Theatre on your left. The Admissions Office is located within Radcliffe Yard.

By Car
From the West
From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike): Take Exit 18 (Cambridge/Allston). Bear right after the toll booth at the end of the exit ramp. At the third set of lights (over the bridge), turn left onto Memorial Drive. After the second set of lights, turn right onto JFK Street. Go through two sets of lights. At the third set of lights, turn left onto Brattle Street (Cardullo's is straight ahead), then bear right at the crosswalk (Eastern Mountain Sports is straight ahead), which is a continuation of Brattle Street. Radcliffe Yard will be on your right after you pass the Graduate Schoool of Education on your right and the American Repertory Theatre on your left. The Admissions Office is located within Radcliffe Yard.

From the North or South:
Take I-93 into Boston and exit Storrow Drive West which becomes Soldier Field Road. Follow *** below.

*** Turn left immediately onto Soldiers Field Road (west). Take Harvard Square exit, bear right across Anderson Bridge, and drive straight into Harvard Square. Turn left onto Brattle Street (Cardullo's is straight ahead), then bear right at the crosswalk (Eastern Mountain Sports is straight ahead), which is a continuation of Brattle Street. Radcliffe Yard will be on your right after you pass the Graduate Schoool of Education on your right and the American Repertory Theatre on your left. Parking
On-street parking is scarce in Cambridge, but there are several public parking lots and garages. The Harvard University Parking Office, 3 Bow Street, 2nd Floor, sells $5 passes. You can also purchase passes on-line, enter "Student Affairs" for your department and 3003 for your department code.
